Highland Russet is a mid to late season variety notable for its high yield of uniform, oblong-long, lightly russetted tubers. The variety has moderately high specific gravity and resistances to second growth and most internal defects. Highland Russet shows good potential for the processing market.

Resulted in a 1990 cross between Ranger Russet and Russet Legend

Foliar late blight, PLRV, Root-knot nematode, corky ringspot
